MEDIEVAL CAIRO
Aug. 6-10 For five evenings, the historic center of Cairo returns to the Middle Ages with banquets of typical dishes and products, window displays and themed decorations. Every evening, medieval-inspired performance. Big fireworks display on August 10.

HISTORICAL CENTER CAIRO MONTENOTTE
The village is bounded on the south by Porta Soprana, which has become the symbol of Cairo, and on the north by Porta Sottana. Today it is a pedestrian area bustling with stores and offices, with quaint alleys and small squares branching off from Via Roma. Walking along Via Roma from south to north through the historic center, one arrives at the large Victory Square, where the City Palace is located.
ADELASIA PARK
A few kilometers from Cairo Montenotte, in the hills of Ferrania, is Adelasia Park, linked to the legend of Adelasia and Aleramo. The reserve offers four hiking trails of outstanding scenic and natural beauty, traversed by the Ligurian Mountains High Road, which includes a stop at the Cascina Miera refuge.

lake osiglia
Half an hour away is Lake Osiglia, a reservoir created after the construction of the Osiglietta dam between 1937 and 1939. The lake offers opportunities for canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, and swimming, while the path around the lake offers about 4 km of flat terrain ideal for running, surrounded by the tranquility of nature.
